The Itinerary
Day 1
Arrival and Preparation for Shabbat in Vancouver
Welcome to British Columbia! Arrive in Vancouver and check into your Hotel or B&B. As Shabbat approaches, prepare for a restful evening with services and meals within walking distance from your accommodation.
Day 2
Shabbat in Vancouver
Attend services and enjoy kosher meals conveniently located near your hotel. The day is reserved for rest and reflection in the beautiful surroundings
Day 3
Journey to Vancouver Island
After Shabbat, you’ll rent your car and travel to one of the two ferry terminals in Vancouver to board the ferry to Nanaimo or Victoria. Upon arrival, drive along the scenic highway to Tofino on the Pacific Rim and settle into your comfortable beachfront hotel. All kosher meals will be provided.
Day 4
Pacific Rim: Whales and Sea Lions
Begin with a kosher breakfast before setting out to sea to watch whales and sea lions. Take a break at the soothing Hot Springs and later, a boat trip to Meares Island to explore the ancient forest. Dinner will be served back at your lodge.

Day 5
East Coast of Vancouver Island
Transfer to the East Coast or Vancouver Island, to Painter's Lodge. Enjoy a tranquil boat excursion in Discovery Bay, complete with kosher picnic and aperitifs as you watch the sunset. Today, you will also pick up food for the last two days of your adventure.
Day 6
Discovery Coast and Grizzly Bear Safari
Embark on a wildlife excursion along the Discovery Coast. Look for bears, eagles, elks, and marine life. Visit Telegraph Cove and Port McNeill, ending your day in a cabin on the spectacular boardwalk.
Day 7
Killer Whales and Return to Nanaimo
Dedicate this day to observing orcas in the renowned Marine Park within the Great Bear Rainforest. Later, travel towards Nanaimo for your ferry ride back to Vancouver the next morning.
Day 8
Departure from Vancouver
Catch an early ferry from Nanaimo to Vancouver, marking the end of your journey with us.
